Patient referrals
Refer a patient to someone you trained with
When a patient is moving cities, or needs a specialist you do not personally know, you are guessing. Someone from SRMC is probably already doing that exact work in that exact city.
1 alumnus is taking referrals across 1 specialty
Step 1
Be findable
Add your specialty, the city you practise in, a reception number and a map link. That is what a colleague needs in order to send you a patient, and it is everything a patient ever sees.
Step 2
Find the right person
Search alumni by specialty and city. You get where they work and what they do, the same things you would ask a batchmate on the phone.
Step 3
Tell them it is coming
One tap opens WhatsApp with the message ready. Your colleague knows who is arriving and why, before they arrive.
Step 4
Send your patient one link
The doctor, the hospital, the number to ring for an appointment, and directions. Nothing else, and never anyone's personal number.
What we do not do
Your personal mobile is never shown to a patient. The number on your card is the reception or appointment line you choose to publish, and nothing else from your profile goes on it: no email, no home address, no batch.
Listing yourself is your choice, it is off until you switch it on, and you can switch it off again whenever you like.
Signing in needs an Indian mobile number for now, so referrals work within India. We are working on sign-in for alumni practising abroad.
